{Bookish Survey} Cast a Harry Potter Spell! Part 2

This bookish survey is taken from Flip That Page and the graphics also belong to her. These just seem like a fun thing to do and that's why I'm doing it! This is part two. If you haven't read part one, you can go over here. I'm probably the last person to finish this survey haha. Anyways, without further ado, let's get started!

Stupefy

puts victim in an unconscious state

A book with a chapter you couldn't seem to get over:
Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. The epilogue totally killed me. Like seriously. I feel like I'm listing this book so much but it deserves all the praise! My review of it is here.

Confundo

causes befuddlement or forgetfulness

A book that generally confused you:
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. I have no idea why but I had no idea what was going on in this book. I think it was because I was impatient and was in a mad mood that day. I had a general sense that it was about angels and demons but other than that I got nothing. Time passed quickly and then I had to return the book to the library. This definitely needs a re-read once the third book comes out (or did it already?)

Crucio

inflicts unbearable pain

A book that was a pain to read:
Black City by Elizabeth Richards. I hated this book a lot. It was mainly because of the romance. I just couldn't get over the instant love and how stupidly fluffy it was. Something about how their hearts beat for each other, literally. I forget but it's okay. I do want to forget about it.

Episkey

heals relatively minor injuries

A feel good book that you enjoyed:
Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. This was as much of a feel good book as it was a bursting with cuteness book. This has gotta be one of my favorite contemporaries of all time, hands down. I recommend this to everyone even though my best friend didn't like it that much. She loved Park but hated Eleanor, haha. But I love this book to pieces and I just tell her to let me adore it :3 My review & Kaity's review

Expelliarmus

temporarily disarms an opponent

A book with a swoon-worthy character:
Wait for You by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Cam is gotta be the best book boyfriend ever. Even his name is swoon-worthy. Cameron Hamilton. Just think about that. And the fact that he never gave up on Avery was so sweet. He's just too much. I can't stand his sexyness and cuteness ahhh. Yes, it is definitely possible to be both sexy and cute at the same time. My review of it is here.

Impedimenta

impedes target's process

A book that kept you up all night reading:
Insurgent (Divergent #2) by Veronica Roth. The beginning of this book was a bit slow and that was what originally caused me to DNF it. Once I made it through the beginning though, I couldn't stop reading it! It was definitely worth staying up late for. Now I just need to read Allegiant then I'll be done the series!

Silencio

immediate silencing

A book that left you speechless after you read it:
Mark of Athena (Heroes of Olympus #3) by Rick Riordan. I mean, with that ending, how can I not be speechless? It's just not possible. It's really a WTF moment, that's what it is. This book is probably my least favorite out of the whole series but the cliffhanger was still as deadly as all the other ones. I need to pick up House of Hades some time soon!

Legilimens

allows you to delve into someone's mind

A book with well-developed characters:
The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines #3) by Richelle Mead. I feel like all of the cast are pretty well-developed characters. Especially Adrian. I think he's a complex and conflicted character. He should be since he's already been in about 9 books :P My review of it is here.

Levicorpus

a spell that turns you upside down

A book that changed your mind about a character from its prequel:
Apollyon (Covenant #4) by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I liked Seth before Apollyon but this book totally changed my mind. I'm just really disappointed him in. I thought he wasn't some evil lunatic and was a great guy that genuinely cared for Alex. Turns out I'm wrong...

Obliviate

used to hide memories

A book with a story you can't remember:
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkins. I really don't remember what a lot of books I've read are about, but with this one, it's on a whole new level. Aside from some sort of freakshow powers (maybe that isn't even in the book), I don't remember anything from the book. Oh yeah, there's Noah Shaw. That's about it.

Peskipiksi Pesternomi

useless spell

A boring book that had absolutely no effect on you:
Enclave by Ann Aguire. This book was an absolute "meh". Nothing exciting really went on and I was bored enough that I was ready to go to sleep.

Reducto

breaks through solid objects

A book that convinced you to reconsider a genre:
Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake. I've never really liked horror at all but this one could've converted me into a horror lover. I think I don't like it because a) I get scared and b) it's not really all that interesting to me (see reason a).

Rictusempra

tickling spell

A book that made you laugh:
School Spirits by Rachel Hawkins. The whole Hex Hall series contained a bunch of humour and I just loved it so much. Naturally, the spin-off story about Izzy is equally awesome (if not more). All the main characters had a great sense of humour so it just wasn't one comic relief character. My review of it is here.

Sectusempra

offensive spell that violently wounds the target

A book that may have scarred you for life:
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I may be the black sheep in this but I got scarred with this book. Not that I've never heard anything like it before but I just don't like how Charlie sees everyone and he describes them so innocently. He just doesn't really understand the bad things around him, I guess.

Tarantallegra

makes you dance uncontrollably

A series finale that made you feel giddy:
The Last Olympian (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #5) by Rick Riordan. Oh my gosh yes I couldn't have asked for a better ending. I just realized I don't have a lot of finished series haha! I was going to say Clockwork Princess but I don't want to use it twice. Anyways, I'm pretty satisfied with this ending and the book was just generally awesome.

Bombarda Maxima

causes an explosion that breaks through obstacles

A book that made you explode with the feels:
The Pirate's Wish (The Assassin's Curse #2) by Cassandra Rose Clarke. This book is too cute. I definitely love cute books more than sexy ones, if you haven't realized. Anyways, Naji (the guy) was so sweet with her. Just their first kiss had me squealing haha.

Finite Incantatem

nullifies other spells

A book you thought you'd dislike, but ended up loving:
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I thought it'd just be another overrated sci-fi book but holy shit it's now one of my favorite sci-fi of all time. I really love this genre and I don't really have many must-reads for this genre. The fact that it got such a high rating from me is pretty unusual.

That is all :D I'm feeling pretty proud of myself with finishing this super long survey. It was also pretty hard not to use some books twice. One person only has so many favorites and recommendations right? Then the rest of it falls into the "meh" or "hell nah" category. Hope you found some new books from my survey! I definitely wanna see some of your answers. Leave a comment below with your post and I'll go check it out :)
